How Are You, Really?

There are many things going on in the world right now, forcing us to slow down our typical fast paced lifestyles. While we’re all forced to slow down it gives us time to reflect on a lot of things. Today, I pose we take the time to reflect on our productivity levels. While I am sure there are still some of us who have more time than others, I’d like us all to think about what we’re actually doing with this time. Many of us are used to a daily routine of some sort, which has been altered and will be for some time. Has this daily routine alteration given you a chance to tap into something new, old, negative, positive, or just get plain lazy? Whatever the case may be, I want you to take the time to check in with yourself. Remind yourself that your current situation is temporary. This extension of time has been given to us as a measure of safety. Use this time to just be and take care of you. How often do we get a chance to not worry about our looks, being late or get a substantial amount of sleep on a regular basis? I know, this may not be the case for all, but the point I’m trying to make here is that there is something positive to pull out of this experience for everyone. We will all be forever changed after this experience. You get to choose how.
